along with all the other praying people around the world, during this time
of what will someday be looked back on as the Worldwide Pandemic of 2020.
I pray for the mothers who feel "stuck" at home.
I pray for the children that are scared, abused or alone.
I pray for the homeless who have no where to go.
For senior citizens who are anxious, confused and alone.
I pray for all leaders, Presidents and the like
for wisdom, discernment, compassion and might.
I pray for those who are angry, those who panic, or complain,
For the afflicted ones who suffer in agony and pain.
I pray for all medical staff on the frontlines of today
and all those who have lost jobs, their purpose and pay.
For the people who are burdened with too heavy a load
Needing their abandoned Lord, but not knowing where to go.
I pray for an end to the grief and the pain
And to see a new world that has good things to gain,
If, in our trials we have learned one thing right -
To repent, to let go and let God win our fight.
