As time plods on, we humans can certainly find the most baffling ways to make a mess of things, can't we? That was actually more of an exclaimation than a question. And you don't have to turn on the evening news or keep up with the latest on the Web to know this. I guess it never ceases to change in the long and short of the time that humans have populated earth. It is good that we have a patient God who created us. Or we would have been extinct ages ago, right?
I hope in the long run, despite all our errors, our mistakes, our selfishness, pride and even hatred, He will continue to still love and protect those who desire to love Him back, repent when needed, keep the Faith and repent again, as often as needed. Because, despite all the Evil that exists, there is still plenty of good and still a whole lot of love going around.
We find it in our children, in our Grandchildren, in Nature, in the work of our hands in service for others and even among strangers who treat us the way we hope we are treating all those we meet and greet along the way.
It's still a beautiful world and we must continue to strive every day to help keep it that way.
