A family farm is a great place to begin adventures for children and learning. We've found this to be especially true as the years have gone by and the grandchildren have grown fond of visiting us and being here. So, in the wake of the great virus pandemic of 2020 and what has become a political and debatable decision to isolate, social distance and school children in unfamiliar atmospheres, on line, isolated or in classrooms with masks and plexiglass, PaPa and I made the decision to lend a hand in an environmentally and fun way for our grandchildren to "adventure together" in their learning one day a week.

OFF ON A NATURE WALK
And we must stop and climb a tree vine...
Preparing to build a Scarecrow
This requires PaPa's help!
This is too much fun!
Sometimes it's just time to stop and rest...
Or build a garden around a tree.
Planting spring flower bulbs in it.
And watering them for a good start.
Everyone gets a turn.
And adding mulch for the final touch!
And wondering what it will look like in the spring!
Maybe this or something similar.
Painting is always fun, especially when you can get messy outdoors!
Disposable clothes are the best option!
Filling the barn with clean bedding for the goats.

A picnic in the forest and off to Adventure Land
to find Paradise Falls (from Up the Balloon Movie)
Join us again for our future adventures at Adventure School!
