She was a rescue calf soon after birth, a mini-Jersey heifer who passed through several hands before she found the ones who healed her. We were blessed to find her as soon as she came up for sale at 3 months old. Now we've taken over her care and given her a new home and a new farm family to blend in with. In less than an hour after her arrival, she adopted her new Mom, Laura Rose,
our old Guernsey cow who isn't able to have any more of her own.
And Biscuit, our guardian dog is making sure she's safe enough to be around those in her charge -
the goats, chickens and ducks. Biscuit knew immediately she would do!
We've named her Zetta Rose. In Hebrew, Zetta means olive (tree) which means peace.
In Portuguese it means rose.
She represents both of these meanings because she's brought us peace
and she is as sweet and beautiful as a rose.
Welcome home, baby girl. You're a perfect fit for our farm!
