There is no doubt that summer is here for awhile.
The joys, the fun, the gardening and the extra work load of juggling
home, farm and other activities are all a part of it.
It's certainly "nothing new under the sun" as people have been going through the ups and downs of summer seasons for generations.
I realize now more than ever how people and parents of the past
must have felt as they, too, tried to make it all work out
and still enjoy it - all at the same time - before it was over
and the autumn season was upon them already.
My way of preserving what I don't always have time to enjoy
as much as I would like, is to keep the "moment" in pictures
in order to save the past for the future.
A Quiet Place on the Farm
A Refurbished Garden
A Recycled Garden Ornament
A Buck Party By The Driveway
Spring Blooms Repeating In June!
From Garden to Table
Fun on the Farm
A Stroll Down the Driveway - hey - Where are you going?!
God's Beautiful Handiwork!
There are so many more moments in time that we wish we could savor. Our two year old grand-daughter who already has the camera fever, obviously has an eye for "the moment" as she quipped up the other day, "I need my camera". Yes, she has one already.
Like Mother, like daughter...
So, to cherish the moments amid the busy days of summer,
we keep the pictures we can take and the rest in our memories
as we move slowly and quickly as the days go by.
Enjoy your SUMMER with a grateful heart and a happy smile!
