Summertime is winding down in our neck of the woods with a hint of FALL a couple of weeks ago, a cooler than usual August and 5 inches of rain. The heat and humidity are back for, most likely, a brief spell and the days already seem much shorter.
It hasn’t been a most eventful summer, but as always a constant one, a busy one. There have been ups and downs as usual, in the family, on the farm and always with our slower pace as we begin to feel our “upper middle age” more and more. We are both blessed and exhausted that the word “bored” never comes to mind.
Here in a few pictures are some of the interesting little tidbits of life on the farm and in the home and visiting grandchildren. Enjoy!
