SPRING IS IN FULL SWING

HERE ON THE FARM.
March and April rains have brought flowers, buds and trees in bloom, and now the pastures and yards are greening up, too. We think spring might be here to stay this time. Winter has seemed extra long this year.
Baby goats abound. Marley, our Nubian had triplets, two does and a buck, and Daisy our Toggenburg had twin does on Easter eve. We are blessed.

Marley with triplets - Connor, Gingerbread and Spot.

Daisy, the mommy with Ruth and Naomi.

Now they're all getting along and frolicing around together!

Biscuit, the ever attentive guard dog now perches on an uneaten bale of hay
for a better view, while Laura the milk cow is off in the distance happy for any spring grass she can find.
There is much work to do and new goals have been set for the summer and fall.
Most of this year's attention will be focused on trying to make
long over-due home improvements and repairs.
We'll see how it all turns out, living one day at a time!
Happy Spring to all!
