When we were young, our lives and our actions
were not centered on the things of this world
but on the things we created in our heart
and formed in our imaginations.
As we grow older, it is wise to remember
the importance of the joy and wonder we knew
in our own childhood,
so that we can reinforce it in our children as they grow -
encouraging their imaginations while protecting their innocence.
Sharing in their joy!
And blessing them at night!
We can pray for the children who are not so lucky
as to have the safe environment of a happy and blessed home.
