Today is February! I feel better already. The January thaw has already begun and we know that spring is just around the corner. Early this morning as I was about to make the rounds tending the farm animals, I could see the big beautiful January moon waning in the western sky, a few minutes before daybreak.
(I'm not a professional photographer as you can see.
But the beauty is there regardless.)
Daffodils are already beginning to show their potential as the ground begins to warm up due to a couple of sunny, slightly warm days this past week. I don't think we would have believed this a couple of weeks ago!
All souls long for the warmth of the sun, the kiss of moonlight and the promise of a better day today, tomorrow and forever. We must be that promise. We must be a light to the world! And all will be well. Spring is coming!
(Note: Julian of Norwich (born 1342) is not actually a cannonized saint by the church. However, she is definately a saint among the many, and her writings would tend to prove that. They are a good read and most inspiring.)
