Fall is fast approaching around here on the farm and in this area - but in fits. A couple of very cool days and/or nights here and there and then extremely hot for a few days for this time of year. Even near record-breaking temps a few times. But Mother Nature knows what she’s doing and the seasons are definitely changing, leaves are falling, the sky is a deeper blue, geese are scattering and the hummingbirds have left for the year.
In the midst of all this seasonal beauty going on, we see so much COLOR even before the fall colors have begun, and it feeds our appetites for more. So, while there are still some blooms scattered in the gardens and a few plants and herbs about ready for harvest, I couldn’t help but notice the beauty and remind myself of our ever so many daily blessings. So naturally it was picture time.
