ALL IN A DAYS WORK

In early morning meditation and listening, one of the things I always hear is “relax and enjoy this day I give to you”. This morning was no different but with a twist that sometimes I forget and need to be reminded. “Do your best today for today is important. Each day is important and has its own work. Relax and enjoy it and My company all along the way. All is well.”

This always starts my day off with a sense of Peace. It’s comforting that we are never alone. No day is without its trials and tribulations, but the Lord makes the trials bearable, the joys complete and the company exceptional.

Today I decided to take along the camera and capture some of my farming moments to remind me that I need to enjoy each precious moment, because they go by so quickly!

CUPCAKE - our three-week old bottle baby enjoying her morning milk.

Two young ducks, not yet named, enjoying a swim in their swimming pool.

All done now - off to find bugs and grasshoppers to eat.

Miss Emily in labor with her first kids. What will they be???

After an awful lot of trauma, Emy had a very large buck. So big was his head

in fact, that we finally had to intercede and pull him before we

lost both of them!

Mother and son (Mr. McGregor) are doing fine now.

"Each day had its own proper work. Ma used to say: 'Wash on Monday, Iron on Tuesday, Mend on Wednesday, Churn on Thursday, Clean on Friday, Bake on Saturday, Rest on Sunday'". Even Laura and Mary help out where they can. "Laura and Mary helped Ma with the work".
